The winner of our 2025’s MOST IMPROVED is…drum roll please!!! ARTIE!!!
This picture was taken Tuesday, February 11th, 2025. I picked him up Wednesday, February 12th from the Emergency Vet and all I knew was that he was an intact, 8-year-old male with FIV. Boy did I take a chance! It took him 5 days to eat, but once he started, he hasn’t stopped and we are so FORTUNATE to have Artie on the sanctuary. He has been the BEST cat! We got him neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Due to his FIV, he has been treated a few times this year for URIs, but overall is doing AMAZING and we just love our Artie! Thank you to everyone who cared enough to help love him back to life ❤ ❤ ❤
NEXT UP! Our 14-year-old OG, Bear! We adopted her, her late sister Coon, and brother Gate in May of 2011. Bear has been a wonderful companion, who loves being with her mommy and laying on her heating pad. We are fortunate to still have Bear with us, as she had a health scare this past October. She is still dealing with a corneal ulcer, but continues to thrive! We just LOVE our Bear ❤ ❤ ❤
